The use of incandescent light bulbs is not environmentally friendly as they use much more energy than other energy efficient bulbs. Other light bulb alternatives use less energy, and last longer saving energy and consumer\'s money. Nearly 95% of the energy used by incandescent bulbs is released as heat. This waste energy can be saved by using other energy efficient alternatives.

April 19, 2007

We just hit a major threshold that proves people are ready to stop wasting energy on outdated technology. Email your local representative today and tell them that it is time to move past inefficient light bulbs for good.

My body my choice of light bulbs to use in my own home for my health. How dare you Harper Government play god with my health. I know you don't care about my health and well being, other wise you won't force me to use products that you know are bad for my health and pollute the environment.

LEDs give me a massive headache and the light makes my living room feel like a hospital. Leave my bulbs alone.

The new bulbs contain mercury! Why would you force us to have toxic chemicals in our homes just to save a few pennies. Bad idea.

I tried the curly bulbs and they burnt out in a month. Total waste of money and terrible for the landfill. Keep the old ones.
