Rabbi Dweck perspectives simply represent the mainstream views in Modern Orthodoxy and he has said nothing different to similar statements by Rabbi Chaim Rappaport (Lubavitch Rabbi) in his book on Orthodoxy and Homosexuality published more than 10 years ago.

I can not stand aside and condone this modern day witch hunt and despise the narrow minded and bigoted attack on Rabbi Dweck that is now taking place internationally, fed by senior rabbis across the U.K. As I was once told by a wise, respected and deeply humble rabbi of great public standing: those who stand closest to the precipice kick and shout the loudest.

B"H I only witness Rabbi Dweck speaking Lashon aKodesh. It needs courage to step ahead to bring Thora perspectives on sensitive subject like homosexuality. At the end, unfortunately, this scandal did happened and was sinc with the gay pride last week in Tel Aviv... is it just a coincidence? As Rabbi Sacks mentioned, If Thora is for Human lives and its core's values what science is to the rules of nature: Then as a student, I found interesting to get a shiur which give me possibility to understand, through a Thora point of view, what are the interactions between homosexuality and modern society. But let's target straight away from where the misunderstanding come: Rabbi Dweck didn't say he is supporting LGTB cause. Rabbi Dweck said how important it is for modern society to recognise and respect differences in each other. This is indeed a huge step (Fantastic) against blind rejection of the other on ethic or moral basis and yes it is also linked with antisemitism. In that sens it is seriously linked with freedom and recognition of free choice, for the other also, and it doesn't mean anything else. 75 years ago our Jewish people where exterminated in concentration camps, but also numerous Gypsies and homosexuel people have been assassinated because of their "differences". The all thing is revolting. As a Jew I have been brought up, and as many of us, with values which keep remember me how far I can be from perfect, or better than the other, whatever could be my social position or wealth. Hopefully, with the help of time, Jews will not perpetrate to live in ghettos anymore, especially for religious reasons and especially in Israel. Is it not enough to have to deal with one wall already? And of course it is not a reference to our Kotel's one. Obviously we have to understand what's goes around, through a good and clever heart spirit, and it is exactly what Rabbi Dweck proposed us to hear. And for the detractors: What has to ha
