Our teachers are not being unreasonable in their contract points and have shown good faith by continuing to educate our children even without a contract in place. The Board, with all due respect, should stop being so obstinate.

Our teachers work hard for our kids and they deserve to be paid equally to all other teachers in the state. As a home owner it is embarrasing to see that we are one of the lowest paid districts in the state.

As well as agreeing thst we have excellent, hardworking teachers who deserve to feel valued, I believe property value and desirable community growth are tied to the quality of the education in the district. As a parent, I believe achieving competitive pay is desirable now. As a tax payer, I believe that teacher retention is desireable for the future, as well.
