If this idiocity remains upheld, then all movie studios should be forced to be removed from any nomination and return any Oscar which was advertised as "For Your Consideration", advertised on TV or radio, mentioned in newspapers or any other form of media. The people who decided to withdraw Bruce and Dennis' nomiation should run for Congress. They are the same kind of idiots that are running our country.

Where do you draw the line on having relationships, or holding past seats on a board? No one is neutral. It's who you know, but should really come down to the quality of submission.

Please reinstate this beautiful, emotional, and certainly meritorious of an Oscar Nomination song by Bruce and Dennis.

Sounds like discrimination against Christians. Why nominate in the first place? What caused the change of heart?

Taking out a ginormous ad in Variety to promote your song is okay but not emailing a few pals.

EEOC is refusing to forward a copy of my file to me under F.O.I.A. (Freedom of Information Act). This case is from when I was FORCED to resign from my previous employer, which was reported on numerous occasions to the perpetrator, as well as the Director of Human Resources upon my FORCED resignation from Hilton Hotels Corporation due to: -Sex Discrimination; -Sexual Harassment by Management in the presence of other employees; -Hostile Work Environment. Previous employer mentioned supra I was forced to resign from was under a federal monitor for Theft of Proprietary Information & Theft of Intellectual Property Rights from one of its competitors. My previous employer had to pay this competitor approximately $153,000,000.00 for these criminal offenses. http://amlawdaily.typepad.com/starwoodcomplaint.pdf http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2010/12/22/hilton-and-starwood-settle-dispute/?_r=0 http://us.mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSN1518265820100115?ca=rdt http://www.businesspundit.com/10-most-notorious-acts-of-corporate-espionage/ I could go into more detail, but I could explain it better over the phone. Even if the song is garbage, no one did anything untoward here. If campaigning baldly for awards is a disqualifier, then Miramax should return all their Oscars.

Apparently, merely asking one to listen to a song is over-the-top, but millions in advertising and promotion are not.

At some point in life, the good girl/guy SHOULD win. Something. This is a case of when it would be a great time for the Board of Governors to admit they perhaps jumped to a further conclusion than actuality, and put the song BACK in the running. Not to diminish the achievement of the other nominees: but- I have personally seen communication from some other sources promoting "their" work. Yet, NOT from Bruce. Fix this situation, and spray some air freshener into what becomes a smellier Hollywood by the day. DO THE RIGHT THING.

Whoa....punishing him is way over the line...is it because of the Christian nature of the (beautiful) song?
