Trans are neither fish nor fowl. It should be a crime to treat anyone under the age of 21 unless they are intersex. They don't need a surgeon, they need a psychiatrist.

Show me the number of "trans men" who have won sports medals in mens competitions. JKR acknowledges reality.

I am a 62 year old woman who has always supported the gay and transgender community wholeheartedly....but I refuse to be cancelled as a biological woman! Let's please include all genders but not at the expense of others.

I'm sorry for all you've had to go through. The overwhelming majority of people are sensible and can understand that there is a tension between women's rights and trans rights that needs to be resolved in a civilised manner. The words 'woman' and 'female' need to be defined in law. Women's rights need to be legally protected in particular areas such as sports, prisons, bathrooms, therapy, medicine etc. The world is going mad with senior figures and even medics having difficulty defining 'woman'. There are hospitals stating 'birthing person' instead of 'mother'. What hope do our children have growing up in this world of make believe? There is a complete denial of scientific reality and people are scared of stating basic truths because of a small but vocal and intimidating minority. Thank you on behalf of all the straight women, lesbians, gay men, and sane trans people, for not being one of them, despite all the harassment. You are a voice of sanity in an insane time. The world will realise this eventually! Thank you to the organisers for giving us an opportunity to stand in full support with JK Rowling. We need to end this nonsense!

It is scary you do not listen to any divergent opinion. This goes against liberal views. Women are really being obliterated by radical movements such as the current trans radical views that completely obliterate the identity of biological women.

She is not transphobic, pointing out important problems arising currently, which by no means threatens trans people.

Collective madness is truly dangerous when it becomes selective and fuelled by ignorance and misinformation

I believe JKR is as fervent an ally as anyone could ask for in the cause of human rights and justice. I have watched in horror for years as a movement for acceptance and sympathy by trans people in society has been hijacked by an ideologically extreme faction. Misogyny harms us all. Rational debate is all that is required.

I don’t just believe in sex, it is a fact. I’ve no problem with trans people, they need to be proud of themselves and stop bullying anyone who denies they ARE eg women.

Support your positions. Need more like you to stand up to those that seek to distort mankind.

I struggle to understand how the abuse JK Rowling suffers standing up for women's rights is so readily dismissed. Women are still one of the most marginalised and abused groups in society. If you identify as a woman, you would understand that and every experince women have to endure. Your support groups should not victimise women in order to promote your cause. Rape is never acceptable as a threat. Shame on everyone who uses this in trying to promote a cause. This is the very reason why biological women need to band together to protect their rights. Women are the most accepting group in society, there just needs to be some respect and appreciation for the safety and protection biological women have fought for, which unfortunately is necessary.
