In Solidarity With JK Rowling

Thank you for being a sane voice and for refusing to pander to this madness.

She stood up and said what the silent majority is too afraid to say. Everyone should have freedom of thought and speech, whether you are a women, man, transexual man or transexual women . Crazy how such a small toxic minority can have such a damning grip on the rest of the population.

JK Rowling does not deserve the hate she gets. Nothing she's said is actually transphobic, and Harry Potter is my lifeblood.

Freedom of speech please.

JK Rowlings is giving voice to what so many of us have become increasingly uncomfortable with, but have not felt safe or had the space to say something. Her bravery to not only speak her truth when she knew the costs -and to not stop talking , back down or capitulate when she was widely condemned and subjected to outright abuse- is a clarion call to action among the silent and silenced. Women's rights cannot be supplanted or marginalized by Trans Rights. Authoritarian oppression of free speech undermines us all, whether it comes from The Right or The Left. Speech must be freed from oppressive ideologies that shut down debate and cast complex issues as black and white: right vs wrong. Truth is not the claimed territory of one side of the other but what we come to, as a people, through deep debate. No room for hate.

Jk Rowling has been a voice of articulate, thoughtful sanity. She has demonstrated courage, grace and compassion in protecting vulnerable women and children, saying “no” to the March of gender ideology as a Trojan horse battering down the fortifications of truth, social mores defending girls spaces, sport and privacy in the face of abhorrent ongoing abuse by men calling themselves women. Good on you Jo. X

So easy to be a sheep in todays society. Commend JKR for speaking out in support of women's rights!

I stand with JK Rowling. She is not hating anyone she is just standing up for women's rights and women's equality and I think she is incredibly brave for doing so when it is not the popular stance. I support her 100%

Recognizing reality is not hateful.

I think Emma, Daniel, and Rupert should think more about how much damage the trans community has done to the gay and feminist movements and how far back they have sent all the good work that has been done by past generations. Get your heads out of your arses and see how much more good you could do for real causes.

We support you every inch of the way, both in concurrence and in gratitude for the immense joy your stories have brought to us.

There are issues that affect women that do not affect trans women. I have endometriosis and I should not have to use gender neutral language when speaking of my illness. I’m a woman with a woman’s illness!
