I am disgusted with the witch hunt this poor woman has to endure for speaking her opinion

Consider this me signing at her gate!

The right to free speech which is based in fact should not be interpreted as hate speech. JK Rowling promotes a widely held and credible opinon. As a gay man i am part of the lgbtq community and i want to acknowledge and appreciate her sincere support. We live in a democratic space and ironically (and worryingly) the hate directed towards her is far nearer to bigotry and fascism - read what she writes on this important subject. It is from a position of love and empathy not hatred. kindness and love to all please Trans community you are supported - there is more that connects us than divides us and this is echoed throughout her views.

Biological sex is important and she’s brave for speaking out! Thankyou for trying to keep women safe.

Such admiration for JKRowling. I've spent 50 years supporting women's rights. How dare people 'cancel' this courageous woman. It's even more egregious when it's the brats she made famous.

I stand in solidarity with JK Rowling as she is standing up for the rights of women. She should not be suffering threats of verbal and physical abuse for her views that the majority of women agree with. I am sick and tired of being forced to agree with minority views. I thought we were living in a free country but sadly our media are biased and do not publish a balanced view. It is so shocking that the views from a high profile author speaking from the stance of most women is being made to look like a villain. I think we are heading into a world depicted by Margaret Atwood’s book ‘a handsmaid tale’ where women have no rights and are completely controlled by men! I applaud Joanne for putting her head above the trenches! It feels like an invisible war has started and we have no weapons to stop it!

Having listened to The Witch Trials of JK Rowling I can only agree with her stance and views in so many different ways. All of us must be able to debate and understand difference in all its guises. The whole response to her views is a societal disgrace

I am dismayed at the erosion of woman’s voices, rights and privacy. From attempts to silence us and deprive us of our rights through time immemorial to the current fundamentalism that threatens us today. I want to stand up and be counted.

I pay little attention to the media so until recently had no idea about what J.K had been going through until I accidentally came across the Witch Trials on Spotify. Total respect for J.K. Wise people are going to be misunderstood by the legions of ignorant: "There's none so deaf as will not hear."
