I absolutely stand with all the people who have signed this petition.Women's rights and the freedom to discuss them, have been continually threatened by silencing,cancelling and direct harrassment and threats. This is not acceptable and should never be acceptable. Debate and questioning is diametrically opposite the way that women are being harrassed in public spaces and they are seen as not having a consequence.
I condemn the way that JK and many, many other women have received rape and death threats due to expressing concerns over medical transitioning,women's rights to safe spaces and protection under the Equality Act.

Rowling is indeed honourable and compassionate and neither her nor anyone else should be subjected to such vile misogyny. Thanks to the petition organisers and those who signed it initially - it's so important that those in the public eye speak up to show this is unacceptable.
