women are adult human females and have the right to their own spaces. Allowing men in them is a violation of the Geneva convention

Thank you for your bravery and strength. You could have taken the easy option and said nothing, instead you stood strong.

The abuse directed at J.K.Rowling is a snapshot of the endemic violence women around the world endure on a daily basis. It is every woman's right to have her voice heard, and the hate, threats and abuse J.K has had, has to be classed as a hate crime. No male has received this level of abuse for vocalising similar gender critical views. Misogyny is a hate crime.

This woman has more courage and integrity than any of her detractors. The vicious campaign against her is unconscionable.

After reading her tweets, her essay, and her book, I cannot find any evidence that JKR said anything hateful or bigoted. I am appalled at the way the popular media have portrayed her position, as well as the violent, misogynistic threats she has received.

J K is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. She is measured, articulate and speaks the truth for women. I fully support her and think she's been treated dreadfully. I cannot express well enough in words how amazing this woman is. Thank you JK Rowling!
