Not a Potter fan, but this is decent lady, a role model for boys as well as girls. Should be a dame.

It is imperative that high profile people like JK Rowling and Sharron Davies speak out against the madness that would allow men to compete against women and share their private spaces and its imperative that they are supported. In regards to the sporting issue its cheating, and the private spaces infringement is to allow perverts and paedophiles a free rein.

Awful to have to "stand with" JKR when she's done nothing wrong, but I do support her wholeheartedly. She is a powerhouse.

The attacks on anyone who stands up to this madness are despicable, and only serve to hurt the cause they purport to stand for. I do not care whether someone wants to be a man or a woman, but trying to force acceptance down our throats, and acting as though this conversation is already settled is both wrong, and contrary to the values which made our society great. It is obvious that there is some conversation required around female-only spaces, gender reassignment surgery and hormone blockers for minors, and how much of this should be taught to children and at what age, but the equating of descent with literal genocide here is disgusting and nonsensical. Stop the madness, stop the censorship, and let the arguments stand on their own merits in free and open conversation.

I’ve consistently called out biological men in women’s sports for 5-6 years on Twitter and the last year on GB a news, I will fight for single sex spaces to be protected for the future of my daughters and in common sense. Adam ( GB News panellist ) and EssexPR on Twitter.
