Any woman should be able to express an opinion without having to face threats of sexual violence and death. The people who issue such threats and worse still, those who stand back and say nothing, while proclaiming to care about transpeople, care about no-one.

I'm disgusted that some people have directed abuse at J.K. Rowling and other women, in an attempt to stifle our freedom of expression. I've also witnessed an onslaught of mistruths being spread about J.K Rowling's statements.
Some people mistakenly think that disagreeing with someone gives them the right be abusive. Women will not be silenced.

I stand with JK Rowling. I do not understand the furor around protecting sexed-based rights, or wanting open dialogue/debate on any subject matter. I do not understand why JK Rowling is being vilified for saying ordinary things that the vast majority of the public agrees with. Strange times.
