Thank you for your bravery JK Rowling. I dont believe you are trans phobic. Trans people need to be protected but not at the expense of vulnerable women. There is a balance of rights and room for us all to live full lives. Erasure of women is not acceptable. Thank you for trying to introduce nuance to this debate, from a proud irish woman.

Far from bigotry, Rowling stands with and promotes LGB and women’s concerns. She is an ally. The hate and misogyny she’s received has been horrific. We need to have discussion in society and on the left, not just adopting streamlined views. Transgenderism is a concern as it imposes on humanity and is not merely a sexual or identity preference.
