Binary sex difference is real, and the underlying reality of all of our existences. Gender identity is another matter, and it doesn't trump XX or XY. Women need to keep their spaces and defences against men, no matter how the men are dressed, or what gender form they perceive themselves to have. I'm solidly with JKR and the voices she represents on this. Despite my being a non-feminist male, she speaks for me too.
