Women have won rights over a long period of time. We should not be marginalised, bullied and threatened because of a few very vocal inadiquate mysogynists.

JK Rowling is speaking up for women’s rights, I support her and admire her decency, generosity and values .

I stand with JKR and I believe that you cannot change your sex. Men cannot "become" women and women cannot "become" men.

Just can't believe the perverse and vile abuse heaped on human females who are simply protecting their right to Safety, Privacy and Dignity - as promoted by the UN, and UK's Equality Act 2010. The personal attacks on JKR are particularly abhorrent, with thousands of nasty characters bullying a woman for stating simple, biological facts.

Online abuse' particularly against women, is going unchallenged too often. This problem needs to be addressed.

I have received murder and rape threats online too many to count. I have been screamed at in real life. Also I am sick of men on lesbian dating sites and in lesbian bars.

The vitriol aimed at JKR has been horrific. All the woman did was state a scientific fact. I stand in solidarity with her, and with all who acknowledge biology.
