if saying sex is real can prompt this much vitriol it just goes to show how much it needs to be said. sex-based oppression is far from over and we have a right to language that addresses this meaningfully.

We live in terrifying times where natal women cannot speak up against threats by trans rights activists without fear of being fired from jobs and/or ostracized by peers. I believe JK Rowling is right in standing up against such threats.

The labelling of reasonable views/facts as ‘bigotry’ must not be accepted. The bullying, threats of job dismissal and visits by the police for expression of reasonable views must not be accepted. The threats of rape, death and violence must not be accepted. Children who are confused about their gender should receive help to identify WHY this might be. The forced used of pronouns should not be accepted. The word WOMAN should not be ERASED.
