Cancel culture is toxic and immature. Especially when used against someone trying to protect their own rights and the rights of every other female.

This isn't just about JKR being correct & standing up for Women. It's about free speech.

The vile abuse and vitriol directed at JK Rowling was sickening. Twitter should have removed that disgusting hashtag.

I fully support JK Rowling and consider the abuse she received online outrageous.

JK Rowling's courage is so inspiring. It so stands out in contrast to all the go-along-to-get-along cowards of our age. Women's rights has been the cause of my lifetime, and her rational, calm defence of women and her tenacity give me so much hope.

Biological sex is real and those who say otherwise are misogynists and homophobes.

Thank you J.K. Rowling and others for standing up for sanity, biological truth and freedom of speech.

I do not agree with her positions in their entirety but she has the right to say them without abuse and misogyny resulting. She and any woman who have shown any degree if support have been targeted, threatened, lost jobs, positions within the writing community and smeared. Please support trans people. But also, please support civilility and nuance. Her position is highly nuanced in ways her detractors ignore or miss.

The way JK Rowling has been treated is disgusting, she has done nothing wrong, and is not transphobic. I’m appalled that actors who have risen to fame in films of her books have turned on her, talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Outrageous.

I am in solidarity with JK Rowling. She should not be persecuted for her views.
