Freedom of speech is king. Opposing ideas should be fodder for discussion and expansion of understanding and growth. We can be different and still be friends.

UK feminists are not backing down on women's, girl's and lesbian's rights based on sex. JKRowling is a fantastic and caring person. Keep women safe in dressing room, shelters, sports etc.

Insidious authoritarian, misogynistic and violent does not equate to poor dear vulnerable people in need of my sympathies and empathy. I'm not a coward, I'm not brainwashed. This is the same old same old. Every survivor of domestic violence recognizes it for what it is. Why would I champion for these abusers to the right to play victim and get away with rape and murder and theft of women's hard earned rights? Thank you to everyone who has the courage to stand up to this fraud.

Biological sex is real. And I have never been so proud to be a woman, an adult human female. #Istandwithjkrowling

Women's sex based rights are under attack and JK Rowling has been vilified for standing up for them. I support her 100%.

Jk Rowling didn't say anything transphobic. Trans supporters who are throwing vile words and misinformation her way are not only being hypocritical. They do no favors to the lgbt community. They are also largely homophobic. Rowling recognizing the growing homophobia within the trans activist movement and dangers of transitioning is not hate but only a mere observation. I stand by Jk Rowling and her right to her freedom of speech. I refuse to cower to bullies who cannot handle a proper public discourse without resorting to threats and pornography spamming.

I appreciate jk Rowling sticking up for women. It makes me feel better for my views I don't hate anyone. I want to keep women safe so we deserve our own spaces. Women in prison and homeless shelters probably dont know this is going on but they don't need to wake up one day and see they are sharing a space with a male. Many imprisoned and homeless women have been raped and abused. It is not fair to pretend men are women to make they're feelings less hurt. This is a womens and girls safety issue.

Mysogynistic hate is unacceptable, there is nothing right about chasing and bullying anyone. You may agree or disagree, approve or disapprove of anyone's words and opinion not being ugly in it. More and more the world lacks dignity in the way people speak. And the usual easiness how these waves of ugly bullying was unleashed is misogynistic, but also simply horrible snd unacceptable. #behuman please even in the hottest discussions about extremely important questions. Otherwise, imho, it's not done for any kind of truth or justice, but for something very different
