I "heart" JK Rowling - a hero of our times. This is truly the love that dare not speak its name! Everyone - be aware of legislative change in your country to enable "self identification" which is the death knell for women as a biological and political group.

Sex is real, and I support sex-based rights for women, including women's rights to single-sex spaces and services, so I give a monthly donation to Vancouver Rape Relief (VRR). Last year, Vancouver pulled future funding of VRR because VRR services are single-sex, for females only. But this year, the tide is turning, as JK Rowling and others are helping revitalize public support for female voices and the legitimacy of female sex as a political class.

What's happening to her is dumb

Joanne is wonderful, she speaks for those of us who cannot. I agree with her 100% but fear being fired if I speak out. We should be able to talk about the reality of life for women without being bullied!

Actually, she made a statement that is against the international scientific consensus and medical best practice. That's fact. You may not understand any science above a third grade level, but people with PHDs do.

JK Rowling has certainly used her money to silence people who criticise her. Is that what you meant? And by the way, we don't have to silence you. No one is listening to you.

Facts don't care about Rowling's feelings. Her opinions are less important than other people's human rights. Rowling is against scientific consensus and medical best practice guidelines. She has feelings, they have facts. Facts do not care about Rowling's feelings, and your partner doesn't care about yours.

Most women in Britain and the world disagree with Rowling. You just don't want them to be able to speak.
