Wishing to support trans folk while still recognising biology, and wishing to preserve single-space spaces is not transphobic. The insults hurled at JK Rowling are unacceptable and wholly without basis. Thank you Joanne for being brave enough to speak out and hold your position in the face of unbelievable pressure. Only when more people are willing to do so will we ever achieve a meaningful dialogue which creates a solution that protects everyone.

If this vile and depraved abuse towards J.K. Rowling has proven anything far beyond reasonable doubt, then it's that trans women are women-hating males and they should be kept far away from girls and women under all circumstances. Autogynephilia is a fetish, it doesn't make males female, which is biologically impossible anyway.

Thank you for standing up for women.

I cannot believe that this is necessary. Despite the many ways I agree with and support JKR, at the most fundamental level I support freedom of speech and belief. Human beings can express themselves in any way they wish but they quite simply cannot change sex. Thankyou Joanne for standing not just for women but for trans people being harmed by this gender identity narrative.

Stop telling lies and work with the truth and tact

JK wrote what so many of us want to say, but don’t have the right words. She has opened the conversation and done so with grace and compassion.

Ms Rowling is quickly becoming treated by her opponents as though she has spoken with hatred towards trans people. She patently has not. She has done nothing more than raise considered and legitimate viewpoints and discuss them from a place of honesty, integrity, and sincerity. She has never, to the best of my knowledge, claimed any particular expertise outside of a layperson's interest. Of course people may disagree with her, but to burn her books and send her death threats is an overreaction that should be chilling in a free, democratic society.

JK is the hero of our time and deserves the support of the people

Acknowledging reality is what protects and saves lives. That's love. I stand with Joanne! I stand with women! Down with misogyny ✊!
