Funny how she talked about rapists and pedophiles and the troon community gets all pissed off because majority of them are rapists and or pedophiles

There's a whole slew of things I disagree with JK Rowling about, but I defend her right to voice her opinion, and more than that, I hold the matter of science at it's highest. Science which is being subverted by corrupt academics with unfactual and illiberal ideas. It's time we said enough is enough and stand our ground against woolly thinking and cowardice of compliance.

Altho I've not agreed with every view expressed, I believe in the right of expression & feel Jo is often misrepresented in the media. She also seems a kind person so I don't believe she is persecuting Trans folk, more that she is trying to protect women

J. K. Rowling is the strongest person today. I am not signing a petition to support her, but to support truth and reason.

As her essay points out, her "transphobic" positions are that ciswomen and transwomen are different, and that there are some conflicts between trans' rights and women's rights that should be addressed.

Those associated with Harry Potter who have jumped on the band wagon and betrayed the woman who gave them such fame and fortune ought to be ashamed. Free speech cuts both ways and I cannot believe how badly misrepresented Rowling has been. She has spoken with simple common sense and honesty. Those spewing such a torrent of hatred in her direction are a disgrace. Typical of us Brits to tear down someone whose creativity and philanthropy have been so previously lauded.

Wishing JK Rowling all the best. Never apologise to the woke mob for speaking the truth.

Freedom of speech is hard, but that why it needs to be fought for. If we take the easy option of silence, we side with oppression.

Embracing social constructs is a "radical" direction for feminism. There is nothing radical about the notion that Gender is, in fact, Critical to Feminism. I embrace JKR and the term GCR, as well as the trans community- group hug

We shouldn't have to live in a world where our first response to someone whose views we do not agree with is to, for all intents and purposes, attempt to remove them off the face of the earth. It is intolerant, hypocritical and eerily reminiscent of historical genocides and wars. I stand with JKR.
