For a school that prides itself on the acquisition and search for knowledge and being run by extremely intelligent people your inability to appropriately look at data and make rational decisions is mind-boggling. I think you should be more worried about the majority of your students not enrolling next year and less worried about losing the students of some of the crazy ass parents that are pushing this agenda of staying at home.

The educational experience is suffering. I expected better from the University and union. More time was spent squabbling rather than building a coherent plan to return or absent that a robust remote curriculum.

I respect the concerns of all parties, and I am deeply concerned by the disconnect between the Administration, Teaching Body, Students, Families, and Leaders of the healthcare institutions we refer to for advice.
Academic rigor, emotional/social development, and community growth have been hampered.
We need as a connected community to perform scientific and practical assessments of the success of Lab protocols and share the results as we decide together.
The families that comprise the majority of Lab’s community are the most dismissed and that must stop.

The lack of transparency and planning efforts from one of the most well funded and esteemed schools in the country will end up being a Harvard Case Study for what not to do. The lack of focus on the students is both an embarrassment and worse very damaging . Any business with the same lack of consumer centric principals falls to the ground. Other schools with less resources and bright minds have forged ahead with transparency and planning.

At hospital vaccination sites chairs are less than 5ft apart. This is insane. Get the kids back in school. Full time.

I would go further. Open the school. 100% as soon as possible. There is risk in everything, and it is abundantly clear that the harm to our kids from closure is predominant now. We have the resources to protect the vulnerable while permitting the kids to return to some normalcy. Put the kids first.

This travesty is the most egregious act of malfeasance I have ever seen. The teachers are vaccinated, so time to give a modicum of consideration for the children. Administration, do your job or resign immediately.
