In Challenge of Audubon Water Company's Rate Increase

I am on SS and our rent went up, and now Audubon Water wants a rate increase of that magnitude. I can see 2% to 3% but what they want is off the wall and durning a pandemic.

I have 1 question for audubon water why the increase when its Valley Forge Crosdings own wells that provide our water.
At this day in age our community is mostly seniors on a fixed in come and especially right now with Covid 19 going on for God knows how long we have people that cant afford an increase cause they dont have a job and are able to find one.Ill be honest I am one of them and my uneployment all has to go to paying my rent increase I can hardly survive now and you want to put a 43% increase on out own water... Just because you bought the water rights its still coming from our own wells .. And as far as giving good service when there is an issue in here you might as well forget that.. You dig things up amd leave it a mess when finished and yes I can say that cause I have seen the end results with my own eyes.. This is outrageous you should be a shamed.Think of the people not yourself.

For starters the water quality is awful. I dont drink this water because of the residue it leaves on everything. When you came to replace the meters you dug up my front and side yards and left ruts everywhere. You didnt make any effort to fix the mess. I had to fix it and reseed myself.

they cut my heat tape during a service check [we were never informed]. Then our pipes froze and our meter burst. Proceeded to have $274 charged for new one. Only for them to move and reinstall meter in box underground. Water pressure is shotty quite often.

At a time no increase should we are in a recession and depression people cant pay bills as it is and to increase the water cost on our own water wells by 43%
This Increase is way over the cost of living
This company charges a fee in the water rates for the meter i have lived in this park over 25 years and when a corporation bought the park we went from having free water we have 4 wells on the property
That we rent the land it was included in our rent we pay over 700.00 in rent to have my my mobile home on a spot
And the water company the corporation gave the rights to the water now charges us for water that needs no treatment plant
And to raise the cost 43% on mostly over 55 senior citizen's on fixed income and everyone now with covid 19 shutdown
No one can afford a 43% increase in any bill

my back yard has been dug up each year for the past 3 years my lawn has been wet and my shed has rotted from the yard being so wet also my driveway has been destroyed from the wetness. I think a43% increase would

This rate increase is out of tune with people's ability to pay. I propose a 2 percent increase.
