To our Sweetwater and Marshall Creek Boards,

We have been in close touch with Erin Gunia and she has agreed to present our requests for improvements to the present dog park. We have a large and beautiful community whose residents have diverse interests in the variety of amenities we share.

The dog park is lacking. The requests are simple:

Shade

Grass with irrigation ( dogs don’t dig in grass, Markland is a great example)

A cement walk to the entrance of the park

Water with a hose and drinking for dogs ( see Markland) on cement pad)

Benches on cement pads

We feel neglecting this amenity

harms the image of our community to all residents, not just pet owners.
