Final supporters
At the E48 area in GSH OMB, 4th year clinical students and their clinic educators have been subjected to an environment that has prevented them from continuing to practice safely.
On site, a significant number of dead cockroaches were found indicating that no cleaning has been taking place for some time. This makes it hard for infection control measures on the part of students and educators to be of any worth.
Students cannot continue with their clinical activities in this environment and this will impact on their studies. Considering the current covid-19 pandemic and the impact that it has already had on academics, we cannot afford any more disruptions to the learning of students.
We ask that sustainable measures be put in place to ensure that students can continue practicing in an environment that is safe to do so.

The surfaces arent cleaned since before we came last week. When we sanitized, it was very dusty.
