Its honestly ridiculous how hard it is to even find the schedule for games sometimes. We pay enough taxes here so the kids should have a real program not just whatever parents can scrape together at the last minute.
So sad to see the poor same few parents doing all the coaching--Middle needs to get into the organizing of activities for the kids!
Yes we need to offer more to the youth. As of now the rec is only providing teams for basketball and wrestling almost every other sport is run by parent organizations. The rec is receiving a lot of money that should be put back into the youth of all ages thank you for starting this!

Avalon rec has the best soccer... Dennis does a fantastic job with soccer, basketball and an amazing Easter egg hunt. Let’s get it together Middle... what do we need? Coaches? Help?

My children grew up playing sports at the MT rec center, roller skating, fireworks, etc. It was a great community place! I would love to see my grandchildren have the same experiences!
