Unfortunately I & my family are all too familiar with the food at KGH and it's deplorable! Many times I've made the trek to the two little kiosks to buy something decent for my loved ones rather than have them eat the offering from the kitchens. I believe it's all thermalized. I fully support this vending machine addition.

Hospital food needs a serious overhaul. This would solve only a small portion of that problem but any step in the right direction is a step worth signing for!

This would be a smart step in the process to a healthy hospital. Along with the cleanliness, the food as well needs help. This should of happened a long time ago, before they even started all the upgrades to the hospital, the food and cleanliness should be upgraded.

The quality of food for patients is terrible!!!! There should be choices for staff and visitors to healthy food. I wrote reviews each time my husband had a brief hospitalization and brought him food from home. How can a place that provides health care be so negligent about food?

This is a no brainer - get rid of all that crap in vending machines that do nothing but hurt the health of people (in a hospital yet - go figure) and put in this perfect solution to help with nutrition.

I recently gave birth at KG H and was severely disappointed in the quality of food I received. I was trying to nurse a brand-new baby and was fed food that had zero nutritional value. My husband and friends ended up bringing me food so I can eat something that had some sort of nutrition in it. I would definitely purchase food from a vending machine if it was healthy food.

please contact the BC Cancer foundation at the cancer centre. although connected to KGH they are not interior health and separately run. This would be great there!!
