Please let's do something before this ends in many fatalities. I live on Sugarloaf Parkway in Villages Of Urbana and everyday I see people speeding. Thanks!

I am so fearful that a huge tragedy is going to hit our community if something is not done about the speeding and reckless around here. I see it a lot down Sprigg St N as a thru street. What scares me even more is near the schools and Worthington Blvd (cross walks in the roundabouts). People fly through the roundabouts and everyone thinks they have the right of way, honking at drivers 'in their way', etc. It's scary! Also, over by the middle school on Addison Woods is terrible, especially in the afternoons. I don't know why the speed limit is 35mph when kids are everywhere. I've been nearly hit head on multiple times with people fling around the blind curve there. There are no lanes dividing the traffic and very wide road so people are likely going well 40-45mph around the curve and end up on the other side of the road. It's terrible. It's also sad that kids aren't able to be out enjoying their community because parents are fearful to let them out riding bikes or walking- even on sidewalks. It's just too dangerous trying to cross the roads even for experienced adults trying to get exercise. Something MUST be done before it's too late.

Also just note that Charterhouse Road is highly dense area with many young kids but the wide road designs encourages speeding. Please monitor this road as well.

Sugarloaf is a speedway....
Worthington is madness. Get a red light! No respect for pedestrian traffic.

On carriage hill dr, a few stop signs placed along the way is all we need to slow down traffic. This is an inexpensive solution!

I would like to see speed cameras. The ones that look like little robots.

We need blinking lights at the crosswalks. These people do not understand that pedestrians have the right of way.
I hope there is a huge police presence during school hours with coincide with rush hour.

I'd like to see those cross walk LED signs in the round abouts. Let the pedestrians hit the buzzards to engage a bright RED stop sign like they have over by Giant Eagle in Frederick. People forget it's State Law to stop at crosswalks and it's just not safe. I also would like to see those Light Up speed limit signs that flash your speed if you're exceeding the speed limit. Just place them all over the neighborhood. Thank you!

Let's enforce crosswalks too. Folks have to yield to pedestrians, specially if those are kids. The other day I called out some one for blowing pass one while a child a his dog were crossing it. The guy said "I didnt run over the kid, It was fine". Of course, it was not, it was reckless and beyond ilegal.

So sick of the self absorbed, all about me speeders in this hood. There are many pedestrians, especially children and people need to be slowed down.

Speeding is a big problem along with the safety of people walking around. So many children walk to school and it's very unsafe.

i live right off Worthington, in just the last year i've been in2 close calls with people running that circle going south, and forget about anything resembling a "pedestrian crossing" at those circles, of 10 cars passing, MAYBE one stops. then you have a 50% chance of the guy in the other lane also stopping. it's death to trust drivers will obey the law there.

Stop speeding and other MVA violations (e.g., texting) in the VOU.
