Improve Vegan Station at Trim Dining Hall
Sodexo has done a great job over the years to improve the quality of food for its students at Trim dining hall. It has a variety of options and today we are focusing on the vegan station. Located at the heart of the foyer the vegan station is the only source of support to a lot of vegetarians, vegans and many healthy living enthusiasts.
As of recently (last 3 weeks) with the change in cooking staff the quality of the food served in the station has dramatically gone down. Sodexo's past efforts to improve this station has been commendable but as of recently things have been very different. For a lot of students this station is their bread and butter for daily dining, the PB&J to their lunch and dinner needs.
Sodexo needs to invest into finding the right person to replace the old chef (Lamar) at the earliest. Currently there is a rotation of 3-4 chefs who man this station. Its a mix of new and temporary staff who have been trying their best but they themselves know this is not what they want to know and are not the right fit !!
