I have class in Manhattan three days a week. It is so unsafe and the biggest liability to travel on the subways. Especially after the new ISIS NYC subway threat. Scared to go to class every single day.

Taking away the shuttle bus to and from Manhattan without any warning was a huge inconvenience. I now have to take 2-3 subways and a bus in order to get to class. My commute is over an hour and a half. The Queens campus is NOT easy to get to and places a huge burden to get to class and back everyday. The whole reason I chose St. John's is because of the shuttle from Manhattan.

The shuttle is a great service that is very convenient for a lot of people. Also, I think a lot of people come to St. John's knowing that we have this great service. It makes commuting a lot easy for a lot of people and taking it away not only hurts the students that already go to St. John's but the students looking into attending St. John's as well.

That shuttle to Manhattan would be awfully nice seeing as it was there until this semester began...

I have class in manhattan at 9:05 and I live a 20 minute walk away from the bus stop. We all who have class at the Manhattan campus pay a manhattan fee....and for what? To then pay an MTA fee?

Bring back the Manhattan shuttle. We have no choice but to take classes there and now on top of being harassed there is an ISIS terror threat on the trains. Take care of your students, St. John's.

Taking away the Kew Gardens shuttle has greatly inconvenienced a lot of commuter students and even professors! I now need to buy an unlimited metro card every month which is 100 dollars. For just one month. Which means I'm going to pay 400 dollars in transportation this semester alone. That's insane, college is expensive enough, especially here! St. John's is a commuter school, it needs to take care of it's commuter students! The shuttles need to be improved and we need the Kew Gardens shuttle back!

Especially with terrorist threats against NYC subways, students should have the shuttle to Manhattan that was suddenly taken away this semester.

So the School is charged with the safety of all it's students right? So the Board of Directors and President sold the Manhattan campus and the dorms to make money and now they rent classroom space. Ok The students donnt get a bus shuttle due to no longer having a dorm in Manhattan. Ok so that was the students fualt??No it was the University who made that decision not the student body. So the students who has no say in lose out. Makes no sense to me. All Imhave to say is if the Board and University peopel who made the decision have any kids or grand kids how would thjey feel it they were being harassed while taking public transportation to a class in Manhattan on a daily basis. Bring back the shuttle to the Manhattan campus. If my child is hurt in any way due to you not bringing back the shuttle to Manhattan you will be held accountable!!

How much student tuition did it cost to put up an ugly billboard on the LIE? What about the billboard on the Queensboro Bridge? Or the ads on the LIRR and on buses? It would have been better spent on student well-being. That means a decent shuttle service and reliable transportation to the Manhattan campus. St John's needs to straighten its priorities. The fancy logo and the aggressive ad campaign should come after something as basic as student safety.

The Manhattan shuttle bus was incredibly helpful for students living in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Even if the campus is gone, the shuttle bus would stlil be greatly appreciated.

By taking away the shuttle bus services, St. John's not only puts their current students in danger but also makes the school less inviting for prospective students. How many parents want to send their child to a school that does not concern themselves with a safe environment. If they are only going to offer certain classes on one campus then they need to provide safe and effective transportation between the campuses.
