This is an accident waiting to happen! Road is narrow, children crossing, cars going too fast over the bridge towards the school. Ridiculous! Could see this issue a mile off!

Having walked over the bridge earlier today and observed the traffic, I’m shocked at the set up here leading to a school. This does need to be looked into .

The parents crossed the road irresponsibly before the road was open, the council need to obviously protect the parents and children that will inevitably be in danger

This road should be 20mph, including having a safety zones for all children.
WBC have a duty of care.,and should provide without delay

New housing developments must be as safe as possible. Not having traffic calming measures in place is a terrible dereliction of duty.

Having two young children at the school and seeing first hand cars that just speed past without a second thought to who’s around, speed control is a MUST!

Very dangerous, must have 20mph limit and speed bumps

Drivers are already speeding along William Heelas Way and it is only going to get worse with the road opening. Are we waiting until someone gets hurt before action is taken to reduce the speed to 20mph?

This is an accident waiting to happen unless traffic calming and safety measures for pedestrians are put in place. Residents have asked many times and it is disappointing that no action has been taken as a result of reasonable requests.
