As many of us realize, Moores Mill Rd NW is increasingly becoming a corridor for cut-thru traffic of cars and trucks trying to commute between highway 75 and Bolton Rd. To protect our historic street and neighborhood, the citizens of Moores Mill neighborhood would like:
1. Installation of electronic speed detection devices along Moores Mill Rd NW to raise awareness of dangerous speeding
2. Police enforcement of speed limits and no-truck zone on Moores Mill Rd NW.
3. Reduction in speed limit from 35 MPH to 30 MPH.

The amount of cut-thru traffic on our street continues to rise and we cannot wait for a serious accident to demand changes. Email your city council representative today to ask specifically for the installation of electronic speed detection devices. Post this petition link to your neighborhood Facebook group right now to keep the pressure on.

Enforce the heavy truck ordinance and install something to slow down traffic on the section between WW traffic light and "white oak bend". Past that point we have the peachtree battle light and the bridge to slow things down.
The city is trying to increase traffic flow on Moores mill rd but refuses to address the safety of pedestrians on the street. Safety need to be addressed and not just the convenience of commuters from Cobb county
Slow down and out turn arrows at Moores Mill and Northside Parkway. To do all the work on the intersection and not do that seems strange.
People do need to slow down. It seems to me that the speeders are mostly teenagers and people that don't live in our neighborhood and think they're in a "Fast and Furious" movie
The lives of children and costs saved from property damage (land and vehicles) demand these improvements! Thank you for your desire to improve the well fare of the community.
We homeowners and our children should be able to walk through our community without fear of being run over by speeding cars and trucks.
Enforcement of truck restrictions is urgently needed.
