Improve Traffic Flow and Visitor Safety at Lathcoats Farm

My whole family have shopped at Lathcoates Farm. Since when we moved to Chelmsford in 1973. We go once sometimes twice a week. Over the years the car park area has become dangerous! Mainly because of all the cars exiting one area. And being disabled like myself and my parents, it is extremely hard to get a disabled car park space as only 4 are available, so you struggle across the yard or sometimes around the barns with traffic coming at you. It definitely would help if there was another exit from the car park and give disabled more spaces so we don't have to struggle across the yard.!

Such a wonderful community venture. It would be great to move the access further away from the Beehive Lane/Goshawk junction.

We’ve been coming to Lathcotes for many years but the apple day this year was so busy, busier than any other year and the parking / pedestrian walkways needs to be improved

Good idea, I've often thought this would be helpful and safer.

The current situation is not safe with traffic and pedestrians having to use the same narro road way. It makes much more sense to keep traffic away from the busy pedestrian areas.

A new exit would be a great idea

This seems like a good idea, as long as it doesn't alter the general ambiance of Lathcoats. We always think it has a - not too regimented feel -- still rural. Many farm businesses get too big, and it spoils them.
