Parents are not parking on yellow lines out of lawlessness, they are physically there to pick up children from school, especially prep students who have to be picked up directly from class, local council should be ashamed in not offering an alternative to lack of parking for parents, but profiting from families already struggling with cost of living.

The construction of the new estate isnt helping and with somerset coming out at 3:20pm its gridlocked. Didnt anyone consider the school before approving further community growth. Its ridiculous!

All these suggestions are great ! they really need to change the chaos, I do have another suggestion regarding school drop off , the kiss and go method which mean when dropping your child off you stay in your car kiss your child and move on (like a slow moving taxi rank) at the moment it seems parents are unfamiliar with this easy concept.

The parking is terrible, 2 hour parking would be a great solution to free up some parking spaces for parents.

These suggestions seem reasonable. I'm not a parent of a child at this school but I understand their frustrations!

Even when you get to school early (2pm) and get a 'legal' park in the school carpark, it can take up to 20mins some days just to get out of carpark.....and god forbid the days you get there late (2.40).....not a park in sight. Remove the yellow line from inside the fence and ban somerset kids and tradies from parking on clover hill drive between drop off and pick up times...this would be a great start.

The fact that the school is the one that calls the police to book us in the first place is terrible, they should be looking at ways to fix it, they also need to get somerset involved so their students know to park in their own school carparks and if they properly mark out carparks on clover hill drive it will stop people parking and leaving rediculous spaces between each car

High time something was done to improve parking at Clover Hill. 2hr parking would be a great idea to deter Somerset students who park all day on Clover Hill Drive.

School parking needs urgent attention. However I also believe their needs to be a second road heading out towards bonogin from the school through the clover hill estate to allow the traffic to flow in two directions. God help us if there is a fire within the school or estate - their would be no chance of getting our kids out safe.

I support this but just do not think the yellow line should be removed. I do believe that it hinders visibility and is dangerous for people unloading their children when parking on the line.

Lack of parking makes collecting children a dangerous and stressful time for children and parents!

Not only is there hardly any parks, the crossing is a major problem for traffic flow. My suggestion would be to build an overpass for the students to cross over which would then allow traffic to have continuous flow. Also the car parks out the front should be angled from left to right and have cars reverse park in. Most of the time you get to school in plenty of time before school starts but you hit the traffic line and by the time your car gets to the drop off zone your children end up late.

As the size of the school increases the problem worsens each year. School pick up and drop off are a huge part of our lives and more parking would lessen the stress as parents. I have a toddler with me making long walks particularly difficult. We get to school just after 2pm and still park halfway down the road from the school. Having a toddler at the school from 2pm is a distraction to the classes. And then there's the traffic to battle.
