I have been treated like a 21 year old getting kicked out of a bar at last call seriously. One black guy actually stands right by you staring you out to leave right at 11 pm. Happened a couple times with this same guy. Somehow he thinks he is a bouncer and not respecting that we pay a lot of money to be a member.
Luis is one night time worker that is very good. If your workout is going a few minutes past 11 he lets you stay while he is cleaning up.
Another issue is many times at night they are out of the small towels that are above the water fountains.

I am agree with this petition since I used the gym to relax and the life time cleaning team sometimes passed that thing line from been doing there work to been rude and specifically seeing from the lead. Since I spend around 400 to 500 a month between memberships and food and clothing and rent I am expecting more like a life time that is been offered to me when I signed up to this gym.

I am considering rejoining but the only way for that would be if you stayed open until midnight.

I believe this is a reasonable petition and this is not too much to ask of a multi million dollar nationwide corporation. A budget for a closing time buffer or a member exiting time cushion is a great idea in an effort to salvage the reputation at the Roseville, CA flagship location, in order to provide the best atmosphere possible to it’s loyal members.
I believe this closing time buffer should allow for the immediate termination of the current cleaning process, which involves Roseville’s LIFETIME cleaning staff spraying chemicals in the showers and amenities such as the sauna and steam room while it’s members attempt to occupy these spaces; rather this process should be postponed and initiated once the gym is officially closed. We would appreciate your staff not spraying chemicals around us or within close proximity, while we are showering and utilizing the gym’s community amenities, especially while we have no access to chemical information or proof and knowledge of what you are actually spraying to clean these showers/amenities (despite several requests of yet still an unprovided/unlisted MSDS) for the chemicals being utilized during your cleaning process.
Thank you,
And best regards to LIFETIME staff

100% agree with this, arrived at the showers a few nights ago at 10:50 just for the employee to get verbally aggressive with me and block the entrance to the shower telling me it’s already 11 when it wasn’t? And then when I managed to bring that up he stated that the showers are closed 10 minutes early. It is quite annoying taking a shower before close and constantly hearing employees walking around yelling that it’s closing time and we have to get out, definitely not a example of service I would have expected for a “luxury” club charging what they charge.

I totally agree with what Eugene is stating in this petition. I for one, have never really used the showers or sauna at night time, but I know my friends tend to be the ones who do use the showers and other parts of the gym. All I can say is, if any of the nightly staff ever told me to get out of the showers half naked and not rinsed off completely, there would be all out war! I would drag the facility manager at that very moment and have him explain to me why that would be necessary. We’re not paying $20 a month (like what you would pay at 24hours or fitness crunch, etc), lifetime is an upscale gym and it needs to be presented that way. Not as a trashy lower class gym.

Thank you, Jon, for doing this. Instead of adding my family to Lifetime, I ended up freezing my account until late night situation has improved. Witnessed way too many awkward confrontations between staff and members, because a member cannot take a shower. Unacceptable and has to be addressed. I've been a proponent of Lifetime for close to 2 years, and have brought multiple families to the gym. But seeing how poorly, childish and unprofessional the treatment of members has been, completely has turned me off. I've left multiple negative Google and Yelp reviews, and will not stop until the situation has improved significantly. Either hire more professional night staff/managers or train them better. The legal situation that Jon has described is brewing to happen again. I personally witnessed an exchange between a member and the evening manager, where they were yelling at each other. Horrible.

I’d like to shower and finish up by 11pm without being told repeatedly you’re closing and to hurry up.

Thank you Jon....this is perspective shared by too many, unfortunately. I feel for the employees put in a position to prioritize schedules ahead of the customer experience... i think Management is to blame as much as the few employees that have been quite out of line in the pursuit of "doing their jobs". The employees should be paid, let off duty, or allowed time to compete their task separate of clients being in the club at/close to 11. I agree there is a time and place for reminders, and requests...but I think as Jon mentioned, they should start at 11, outside and work inward after 11.
Lifetime....we love you. Our lives are better with you guys in it. As a someone who has health issues that are GREATLY IMPROVED with daily sauna use, I appreciate you guys and the sauna tremendously. I also really appreciate the people I interact with a the gym, usually at the end of the night....employees included. Looking forward to us all getting along even better, soon. Thank you for the note, Jon.... thank you for hearing us out, Lifetime!
PS....12am closing would be AWESOME :)
