The Board just voted to block the waste imports and protect our home from these hazardous materials. I am overwhelmed by the result and grateful to everyone who helped keep our valley clean. We will keep watching to ensure they stick to this promise.

I have been spending my evenings reading through the stories you all have left about why our local air and water quality matters to your families. Their silence at the county office is frustrating but it only confirms that we have to keep pushing until they acknowledge the health of our community. I am working on organizing a collective meeting to ensure they see exactly who is demanding this change.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that our neighbors refuse to watch our home become a dumping ground for outside waste. I am truly humbled by the passion everyone has shown for protecting the land where my own children play.

My kids play outside here every day. The thought of hazardous waste near our homes makes me sick. BAN IT NOW.
Its about time someone spoke up about the trucks constantly rolling through. Enough is enough.
Keep our county clean. We dont need to be the state dump for everyone else.
Protect our land and water. The board of supervisors needs to put residents before profits for once.
Lived here my whole life and i refuse to let them turn this place into a landfill. fix this.
