The amount of homeless citizens that live on the streets of Atlanta is outrageous. Different establishments such as Atlanta mission, Emergency Assessment Program, and the cold weather program have brought help to the homeless people in Atlanta.The U.S. government should focus more on this because it seems like they are not too worried about it, but in reality we are losing the lives of individuals everyday by just living in low poverty. The government should have more agencies to address this problem especially since there are families involved. Children who are suppose to be “America’s future" are on the street homeless along with their families. Our goal is to not only reduce the amount of homeless people in Atlanta, but to change the lives of individuals because every life matters.
