Adults who have children in their care should have received education in the emotional and mental development of children and how imperative it is that we nurture that development. Adding obscene and disgusting pictures and books to our children's libraries who are already going through so much during the preteen years is absolutely not okay. These things are for the parents to teach our children and not books in libraries. We all know the research we all know the studies we all know the statistics and what happens when children view pornography at a young age. It leads to a slew of mental and emotional issues as adults and spouses.
