The majority of the American people have forgotten that they have the power to oust any leader that is no longer acting in the interests of the people by using a long list of signatures called a petition. As per the first amendment of the constitution, not only do we have the right to free assembly, which Mayor Bloomberg has undeniably violated, we also have the right to petition any member, weather his rank is high or low, civilian or military of our government. Mayor Bloomberg is telling his police commissioner how he wants the Occupy Wall Street Movement handled. These orders are being passed down the chain of command to the police officers attacking the protesters. Mayor Bloomberg should be ordered to resign from office. He should also be ordered to stand trial for treason. The City's government should also be ordered by the people to replace all of the equipment lost at the eviction of Zucotti Park. The Occupy Wall Street protesters should also be granted their legal right to their First Amendment rights. This issue is of national concern and be extension, global concern.
