I reserve my right to bare arms. I do not want that right impinged in any way. I believe the mayor is acting illegally and will ill will, as a direct threat to myself and fellow citizens of Pittsburgh. We are law abiding and want the full right to protect ourselves and others. The mayor would better spend his time supporting the Pittsburgh police and reducing the GREATER source of gun crime: illegal gun use

Why not: Follow the US Constitution, Follow the Bill of Rights, Follow the Pennsylvania Constitution. Get the " bad guys" first. Confiscate guns starting at the top, then trickle down to the common man.

Article 1 Section 21 of the PA State Constitution Gives the City of Pittsburgh Zero Authority to pass so measures. Knowingly Breaking the Constitution Amounts to nothing less than Treason!

I believe mayor Peduto is in violation of the preemption law of the Pennsylvania constitution and I believe this threat of unconstitutional legislation will harm more people than it will help. The mayor's current proposal has already caused at least 500 people to miss work in defense of their rights, and is undoubtedly already causing people to worry about having to alter their lives in the near future. To permit mayor Peduto to retain his position after inflicting such a disturbance in the lives of so many of the citizens of Pennsylvania and people who travel through and frequent the city, would only be a reward and encourage further disturbing disregard for the laws of Pennsylvania. As someone who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, works and travel to and through Pittsburgh, I believe mayor Peduto has violated his oath to me and the many of citizens of Pgh and Pennsylvania and anyone else who legally possesses firearms.

Peduto has continued to show his disdain for the 2nd amendment rights of not only Pittsburgh but all of PA and needs to be impeached

The Mayor has demonstrated criminal intent by violating the state preemption law and has failed to heed the warnings of the Allegheny County District Attorney. As such, he is unfit for office and should be impeached and criminally charged under PA Code Title 18 for official oppression.
