Peduto knows that what he's trying to do violates the Pennsylvania Constitution (Article I, Section 21) which states: "The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned." He's inviting a myriad of lawsuits against his administration at a time when the city can ill afford such expenditures. Stick to the basics mayor Peduto!

This peduto thinks hes above the law, this is an all to common thing that people are tired of dealing with in this state. We have rights and he is doing nothing to protect them. What he's trying to do has no effect whatsoever on criminals or anyone not in their right mind to have a weapon. He needs to worry about illegal guns before legal ones

I am disgusted by the rights this individual has and is trying to withhold from me and my family. I am FORCED to live within the city limits due to my soon to be husband’s employment and therefore subject to having my constitutional rights to bear arms and protect my family violated. In a city which has just suffered a terror attack on an unarmed religious group and which has hopes of becoming a sanctuary city. This man is too busy supporting recreational drug use, the aborting of life, and illegal immigration to protect the rights of ALL citizens. He needs to be stopped.
