Coach Toal was not only everything of which I would consider a second father who cared for me and ALL of my teammates. He was a visionary and a pioneer, as well as deservedly the most respected and genuinely beloved and influential coach of my time. Many great coaches and young men have been fortunate enough to have had the privilege and pleasure to have learned under and from him and almost all have gone on to bigger and better things for being associated with him. Coach Toal was always the first one in the door and last one out the door, as hard as he made us work as players, nobody worked harder than him. He taught us to love what we do, and perhaps most importantly to make our parents proud, as well as to love each other and our coaches. As a result we take pride that we did and we still do to this day. I hold all of my coaches in the highest regard. This is all a testament to the character and integrity Coach Toal ingrained in me and my teammates on the field of life. Which is what it was all about, the game of life. Coach Toal is a winner, and as such made us all better men for it. For that I will forever be grateful to Coach. In my thoughts, Coach Toal would be angry with any of us players who were fortunate enough to play for him to feel bad for what might have happened. We all became better men under his leadership. That was more important to coach than W's, L's. "This isn't a game for the meek", "It is/was the game of life". Always remember, Coach Toal put each and every one of us first, for that reason and reasons nobody beyond the field could understand. I am loyal to Bosco, but at the same time Coach Toal was not shown the loyalty he ingrained in us as men. I will always remember everything in which Coach Toal ingrained in me. I genuinely loved being a part of your program and feel I am a better man for learning all I have from you. You meant the world. Although I was kicked off of campus for allegedly causing fights with students, even I see the corruption that this man has caused. This school needs a 360 turnaround

Fr.Jim is not a football expert. He fired Coach Toal without consulting the AD or anyone else for that matter. Fr.Jim is also no expert on the Ten Commandments. He lied to the media and the DBP community- making oblivious contradictions in his letter from what he stood firm on in presses earlier in the week.
