I'm a member of the Independence Track and Field team ans I've ran for 2 years now. In my freshman year, 2014-15, Our team did not see any conflicts with the charter schools until my sophomore year 2015-16. We had no where to practice and the only athletics facility we could use is the weight room. That later conflicted with Football's early conditioning. We ask why were being put there instead of our Track. They said it's because of charter schools. Why do they have priorities over us? Tell me that. Why are my fellow athletes unable to practice for the season and upcoming competitions? Why did we only have 3 months on the track rather than 5 months? This isn't there facility. We need to train. Remember when I said we had to use the weight room? We aren't a weight lifting team and yes it cab strengthen our bodies but for 2 months straight instead of training on the track and getting use to our equipment again? Also, in my sophomore year cross.country season, want to know how many teams we had on the track? 3. A football team, a Cheer team, and the Cross Country team. Cheer couldn't practice inside due to the use by conditioning wrestling teams and the volleyball team where both need to utilize the equipment in those specific facilities. Over crowding the our facilities and us nit being able to be put first-over the charter schools or stripping us of who we are. I am a proud Independence Track and Cross Country runner and Tuscany take that away from me it any of the other teams and all the REAL Sixers. Our facilities say property of IHS not KIPP or ACE.

Having 3 charters at the IHS campus is inefficient and an obvious result of problems. Split the charter schools to other district campus. If charter schools require another schools campus let me rule of only (1) charter is allowed per campus. And only if there is adequate space and set rules.

Do not share the school if it affects the public school students.

This would be unhealthy for the ihs sports students and more work for the staff to be taking care of every little problem
