Current federal taxation laws allow for immigrant workers to claim as many Deductions as they like therefore reducing the federal taxes withheld From their pay checks. These are typically young single workers claiming married With six or seven children. In affect, they are being allowed to keep most of their Checks untaxed. Under normal circumstances these taxes would be collected Back when a true Tax Return is filed with the IRS at year end. Unfortunately, Rarely are tax returns filed and the IRS rarely audits these incomes do to Unavailable permanent addresses. This petition is requesting that the law Be changed to read that immigrant workers should only be allowed to claim one Deduction on their pay checks until a formal Tax Return is filed with the IRS Proving the need for more deductions. This would increase the tax income for the country and relieve some of the tax burden on domestic workers.
