Has to go! He doesn't get how the culture of what is a large establish aviation entity will suffer from any immediate change. Things are getting too complex for all of us to keep up. We are the safety net to make sure we all get it right. Our "balance" is the tool that keeps the balance in the operation & solves the problems and issues in & outside the manuals!

I don't believe in eliminating crew chief positions for any reason.

This is truely a sign of disrespect and lack of support for our tech department from our union and president. We're all equal union brothers doing our job to keep our jobs. Our union president just threw us under the bus. How can we possibly trust our president and
union now !

I get that the IAM is in the driver's seat and they don't have tcc's. But for Brother Peterson to stand back and not defend us is misrepresentation to me. He needs to do a 180 on this or step down.

I agree, this breech of trust is a no vote of confidence and reflects the continuing under mining of this TWU to administer and protect and represent its members. I would have accepted a wording as modify but since elimination has the meaning of a possibility of job reduction.

In the 45 years being a union member with the several airlines, never has a union official degraded there union members by wanting to eliminate there position. We, the TCC Production group must be represented the same as any other union member, in a fair and equitable manner.

Technical crew chiefs serve an integral part of the maintenance team. In this day and age aircraft have become so technologically advance and complicated these tech experts are a absolute necessity for the safety and compliance of each of their highly specialized areas.
In genrealized terms would you use a general practitioner to repair your heart, I wouldn't. I'm just saying some systems are that complicated.

Gary Peteren's "beyond approach" has no place in this Union! At this most critical time of the Union, our jobs and the future he should not be allowed to continue destroying what us and others before us have fought for! Gary must go!

This president does not represent my interest and the interest of a union work force. His comments are insulting to my professionalism and my profession. I believe that it is time for new leadership.

He lacks the capability of understanding what a union dues paying member has sacrificed to help others learn and understand the complexity of aircraft maintenance. TCC's work for the membership to bring the knowledge they have learned to the people working the aircraft. So I sign this petitions in hope for a change in leadership with better understanding and knowledge.

The EEOC has rules in place to deal with these types of issues, Maybe we should ask him this. Is he willing to take the heat or pressure himself if it comes his way. I will answer that for him NO NO NO. Perhaps he is still tying to land a management position for himself it would not put it past him

I don't know what Gary Peterson's personal agenda is in regards to TCC's or the use of the ASAP program, but it, and him have no place in a union leadership position.

Betrayal from TWU leadership is nothing new to all of us. The prior 30 years of union leadership has already contractually crafted our position of working for union brothers. Management is to now fill this void? Its obvious Gary has not thought this through. All of our membership should be very concerned in his course of actions - your job could be next.
