It is insane that I cannot get to my own house. This has to stop!

Insane traffic

The situation is unbearable for residents. When I come home in the afternoons I have to park two blocks from my house and get my car later as the streets in the area are completely clogged with traffic.

I live south of Eglinton and often need to access the Allen. No matter what time of day, no matter what day of the week, you can expect a 20 minute minimum delay just getting on to the Allen. The road rage is mounting. Someone is going to lose it and it won't be pretty.

It’s extremely stressful trying to get around this area. Perhaps have some police presence there to assist traffic moving more efficiently.

Flanders Rd is the extention of the Allan Rd At leased300 Cars our making illegal left turn daily on Flandres Rd and they are speeding up the street at 60 -70 kl/hr.

Terrible traffic daily. Can never reach anywhere on time.. please do something about it!

I work near Allen road and it is a constant mess! They need to finish this already

Traffic unbearable and getting worse

Where is good ol' Josh Matlow in all this? This petition should have been put up and made into an election issue before we re-elected him. Time to do some real work for the community, Josh, and get some thing puts in place that address a real issue in YOUR ward. Here are a few ideas: 1. Stop using lanes of Eglinton and Bathurst as storage for equipment and supplies and open those lanes to traffic. Sure, if there are holes in the ground we can't drive over them but a mostly empty space blocked by pylons makes no sense. This is particularly idiotic at the southeast corner of Bathurst and Eglinton and near the Allen. 2. Stop all curbside parking on Eglinton between Bathurst and Oakwood at least between 7am and 7pm every day and open those lanes to traffic. 3. Perhaps the obvious thing is to get some police presence at key intersections like Westoverhill, Chiltern Hill and Glenarden to direct traffic. At the moment it is a third-world free for all. If you do not do this there is sure to be an accident or two and perhaps even more serious altercations that would bring police anyway and tie up traffic even more so how about getting ahead of it? 4. And for G-D sake, fix the light at the south end of the Allen. The timing is all off and does not co-ordinate properly or efficiently with the light just east of it at Eglinton and the northbound Allen. By the time the light turns green and folks can turn left onto Eglinton eastbound, traffic is stopped on Eglinton going east because the other light is red, so no one can move. Sheer idiocy! Every time I come sound on Allen I scream at the stupidity. I for one have not seen any evidence whatsoever that our city Councillor cares abut this 1 iota. Prove me wrong Josh and do something about it.

Stop the traffic not good for our business

This traffic is inhumane and unfair. I can’t get to my house without having to drive down the wrong side of the road and break laws.

A policeman is needed from 8 am to 20 am and again 3-7 pm to guide traffic. This is a must

As a business owner with two locations on Eglinton this has gone on far too long. My car is trapped in our back parking spot because people are cutting through our laneway to bypass traffic. If I had an emergency how am I supposed to leave??
