For many years now there have been diminishing standards within cinemas around the city of Peterborough. The main issues are to do with the following: smaller screens, sub-par surround sound during particular films and old seating in auditoriums at extorinate rates. As the creator of this petition I thought it would be best to aim for a superior service, where the screens are bigger, seating is more comfortable and improved surround sound. Which is why IMAX was the natural choise for the campaign as they are naturally the obvious choise, mainly because they pride themselves of all of these qualities and standards. Some suggestions as to the placement of this new theatre could be in the Queensgate shopping centre within the new extention that they are building or an extention onto the current main cinema at Peterborough Showcase Cinemas.
