Are you really falling for JB Pritzker telling us that the best way to protect our children is by making them wear a mask to school? Do you want your child wearing a mask for 8 hours a day? These masks are not saving our lives, matter of fact they’re doing quite the opposite!
If you haven’t done any research on what it does when you wear a mask for that long every Single day......please do! My daughter would be starting her freshman year in high school. District #40 Moline Illinois. Please let’s all come together and not allow the school to enforce masks on our children. I’m pulling my child from public school and home schooling her! Will you do the same? Let’s take a stand against this BS!

The momentum behind this push proves parents are sick of Pritzker controlling our classrooms. Our frustration is clearly hitting a nerve and the bureaucrats in charge are finally noticing that we will not stay quiet while they suffocate our children.

Anastaisha is supposed to be a freshman this year, she has asthma and a disability that causes her to have “ticks” if she feels violated or something sets her off which results in meltdowns that could be dangerous to herself or others (not intentional) she has an IEPas well. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STOP THIS
Moline HS doesn't have central air either, those kids will be struggling enough.
I have to wear a mask all day at work I refuse to let my daughter go through this too
I will be homeschooling!
I think is just ridiculous. This virus is not as bad as the media n governor made it to be. This is sock our children are a victim to this crap. I will be homeschooling till this rule lifts
Making a child wear a mask for this long is wrong!! I have two boys in school and one has health issues including asthma!!! I will not send them to school with these restrictions
Wearing a face mask on a child or anyone for that long is very unhealthy.

None of this makes any sense. My grandchildren go to Moline, IL schools. They will be homeschooling this fall too.
