Clearly his intent was not to hurt anyone. It's pretty standard Army PT. He is not the enemy, he is not the one police should be chasing after. This is ridiculous!

This is outrageous. Clear QPS have egg on their face, I agree based on first reports the response was justified, however once the situation was determined charges being laid is over the top.

Understand he made an error of judgement, but this has been done for decades by soldiers, very concerned about the apparent attitude of the magistrate towards this.
