Pathetic form from QPS and the "justice" system. What kind of country is this becoming?

Out of all proportion. This man's career has already been compromised. I stand behind our armed services.

As a former soldier I see this as a gross over reaction by police and the magistrate. Training as a soldier isnt a choice.. if you become unfit you become unfit for duty. The iron bar that soldier was carrying is nothing more than a training aid. He had no intent to harm, no intent to cause fear, he didnt even have intent to cause a nuisance. Any charge whatsoever would be wasting the courts time and funding.

I used to train like this all the time. Now the world has changed now it a crime. Grow legal system

What's wrong with people today, is everyone living in a bubble to protect themselves from reality?

In my opinion this fellow deserves a kick in the behind for not thinking what will it look like running with a training weight that resembles a firearm certainly not to be charged everything is being over reacted to. Sad that the magistrate has opened her mouth to give an undeserved opinion. Time for everyone to pull their collective heads in.

a soldier doing his part to better himself and defend this country is having this done to him , this is beyond disgusting next service personal won't be allowed to leave base areas
