Should of been dealt with a little more tact from all sides , yes he did not think it thru !!! But he was in training , adf should be backing this young man and police should be dropping all charges

This soldier should be praised for training whilst on leave not punished. He was only doing his job.

Charge our soldiers for being soldiers? Brilliant idea. If our legal wants to charge men who's job is to carry guns, for carry "imitation" guns when keeping fit, our entire military should lay down their arms and walk out until our Government and legal system begin showing them the respect they deserve.

Our soldiers do a tough job and it takes commitment and dedication to train at an elite level, let the courts come to their senses on this one as I'm sure he didn't consider how the public morons would overreact.
